Fundamental Duties of Indians as per Constitution of India.

Image
Me at Indian Embassy to EU. Year 2020 had a remarkable start for me with a memorable opportunity to visit the Indian Embassy to European Union  for the celebration of India's 71st Republic Day.   The celebration began with Flag Hosting and proudly singing Indian Anthem followed by the Indian Ambassador addressing the gathering. In this blog I want to share a very nice excerpt of the Indian Ambassador's Republic Day speech; the excerpt is specifically on Indian Citizens 11 fundamental Duties as enshrined in the Indian Constitution (Part IV-A, Article 51 A).  I confess like many Indians across universe, I was not aware of these 11 fundamental duties before listening to the Ambassador's speech, without wasting further time I briefly but meaningfully explain these duties. 1. Abide by the Constitution, National Flag & National Anthem.   2. Uphold the Sovereignty, Unity and Integrity of India.  3. Promote Harmony and Brotherhood....

Beautiful personality traits of women loved by all men

Image
A beautiful woman is one who has everything she can flaunt but chooses zero show off. A beautiful woman knows kindness and how to present kindness. Life is not about how much you possess but about how much you give back to the world in return. Fortunately, the world has/had privilege of knowing some of these women, listed below are  examples which has always inspired me. 1. "Despite everything, I believe that people are really good at heart." - Anne Frank (1929-1945). 2. "Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love." - Mother Teresa (1910-1997). 3. "Everyone needs to be valued. Everyone has the potential to give something back." - Diana (1961-1997), Princess of Wales 4. "Democracy is the best revenge." - Benazir Bhutto (1953-2007) 5. "There are still many causes worth sacrificing for, so much history yet to be made." - Michelle Obama (1964) 6. "Be thankful for what you have...

"I design my life myself" - sharing my experience from Yoga Day session

I have often whined about my unfulfilled life to a higher force, having full faith that one day it will have pity on me and change it. It’s not that I never had happy, contented moments but they never seem to last long. I just can’t seem to hold onto them for a long time. Whereas the not so good events of my life made sure to haunt me for months or years at a stretch. To keep my mind off from disturbing and dull life thoughts I decided to indulge in some good reads. During my visit to office library, I chanced upon a self help book. After skimming through first few pages, I bought it home. The book detailed out tips and tricks to improve work, how to climb up in life. But somehow it just seemed possible only in the book and not applicable in my real life. I was back to square one this urge to change life and then giving up altogether went on for some time, ultimately sinking deep into a place of no return and accepting the life God has given me .   After this phas...

Why should only Modi be concerned about India

After listening to an exemplary speech from P.M. recently. I thought of writing this. I would like to thank Sarba Roy ('A TCSer at Heart' ) for the intellectual insight she has put on this blog entirely for all of its content. I remember the first time when I had learned to write. It was an euphoric moment. I had scribbled madly on notebooks, magazines, books, newspapers, walls and almost everywhere. It was a time when I realized that I could do something beyond just eating, sleeping and playing. I knew that my life was much more than I had thought it to be. Education is almost like developing wings. It liberates one, freeing one from the shackles of inhibitions. I wonder how my life would have turned out had I never been to school? I would have never seen the world beyond my city. My thoughts would have stayed limited, like a toad in a deep well, totally oblivious to the world beyond. But Education made me think. It made aware of my capabilities, making me realize abou...

Good Bye College, Welcome Life.

Writing this on eve of last day at my MBA education. There is an equilibrium that time has clearly created between what I've lost over the years and all that I have earned. Every attribute that I tender as I slowly "lose" my youth is re-woven with a life's lesson for a simple truth. This wisdom I've learned from things i have done and people I have met. I am so graceful that god gave me an education which gives me a vision for my life. In this blog I will write something genuine, some lessons to carry after college to have a good life. The world is harsh and you need to be mild. I want to share some lessons that will pave the path of life ahead for miles long in the journey of life.     A wisdom on Honesty   I have learned it is much easier to speak only what is true, because lies are just like crazy balls you throw them and they bounce back at you higher, faster and with more momentum. When ever be in doubt just follow what is true stil...

Learning is Challenging , But giving Exam is like, Kenya v/s Australia in Cricket whereby we are Kenya.      I was onto the most awaited exam of this semester BUSINESS PROCESS MANAGEMENT , The Professor very true to his image made the exam as challenging as he can, Supposedly our bleak faces made Mother Mary to enabled the professor to have some pity on us, but he clean bowled us by saying, " Ab isse easy kya hoga. But somehow My Grades flashed in front of my eyes no longer the flash made me to get back to my answer script.
